Wanted! Operations & Logistics Assistant – Phoenix, Arizona, USA

As the Operations & Logistics Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our logistics and training operations. You will use your passion for teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail while working closely with various teams and partners to ensure effective and efficient warehouse and training center operations, while providing an optimal customer service experience. This position reports to the Operations and Logistics Manager.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Warehousing: picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics.  
• Monitor shipments in transit and address any delays. 
• Respond to customer enquiries on product availability and order status. 
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. 
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy 
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors. 
• Data entry across various software platforms. 
• Assist with Picote Service Center warranty claims, invoices, and shipments.  
• Administrative and project support to other departments as needed.  
• Duties are general are not an exhaustive list, other duties may be assigned.  

 Minimum Qualifications: 

• After being hired, you must pass certification exam for dangerous/hazardous shipping by land, air and sea.  
• Proficiency in MS Office. 
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.  
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.  
• Strong customer service orientation. 
• Valid driver’s license required. 
• Must pass drug test and background check. 
• High school degree or equivalent. 

Preferred Experience:

• ERP software 
• 2+ years of experience in warehousing, shipping/logistics, or inventory control.  

Physical Demands: 

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.  
• Requires walking, bending, crawling, reaching, kneeling, climbing, twisting, stretching, standing and sitting.  
• Must be able to lift and maneuver over 50 pounds. 
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks. 
• Exposure to and work in an environment with dust, odors, hazardous materials including epoxy resin.
