    Introduction

    Lanes Group plc completed a critical pipe rehabilitation project at the swimming pool of a large holiday park using the ne Picote Brush Coating™️ system from Picote. The project was an integral part of the comprehensive renovation of the pool facilities aimed at enhancing the guest experience and ensuring long-term operational efficiency. 

    The Survey

    A CCTV pipe survey was carried out in six sets of four pipes. Each was between 2 & 4 metres long with multiple bends. This survey confirmed that corrosion and cracks were causing water leaks and chlorine build-up along the pool network.

    Xpress Coating System

    The new Picote Xpress Coating System for 1 ¼ -12" (DN32-300) pipes provides faster curing times, no waste, less mess, and minimal setup time for revolutionary cost and time savings.

    The heart of the system is the innovative Xpress Coating Pump featuring dual hydraulic resin cylinders for the new 1: 1, single colour epoxy. It has a built-in extended life battery and internal resin heater providing several hours of working time (it can also be operated while charging). The system also includes a motorized Delivery Hose Reel with 131 feet (40m) of delivery hose allowing for easier setup, movement and storage.
